Greenham Common memorial
Greenham Common memorial
This is a two-sided board, about two metres square, near the control tower of the former airbase. It acknowledges the history of the airbase, as the site on British soil where American cruise missiles were stored during the 1980s, and its current reversion to public common land. This side of the board is a montage of ceramics by local school children showing various flora and fauna and peace symbols. The other side of the board is seen here SU4965 : Greenham Common memorial
