Standing beside the present day kirk. see NT8059 : Bonkyl Kirk The remains, which formed an apse in the original building was converted to a burial for the Home of Billie family with the last interment coming in 1751 when Lady Margaret was laid to rest after being murdered by her butler. The name 'Billie' can be clearly seen on stone on the archway.
