Wandering across Eorsa looking at sea conditions
Wandering across Eorsa looking at sea conditions
Having paddled down Loch na Keal against the wind and waves, we were ready for a brew on landing on Eorsa. There is a very small and fetid shepherd's bothy on the south side, whose roof is just visible at the bottom left of the photo. Having had a spot of lunch inside, our Plas Menai group is wandering round to the south of the island to get a look at sea conditions further down the loch, having already had one capsize in the relatively sheltered water on our way to this point. Looking at the white horses, you can see why our decision was to surf in to the Ulva ferry and paddle round to a campsite on the far side NM4340 : Shelter from the Storm
