The section of rock pictured here is about 3m wide. Near horizontal layers of sediment can be seen. The top section is mostly composed of very fine sediment, the protruding section below has a noticably wider grain size distribution and more turbulent layering, suggesting that it was laid down by a fast flowing ocean current.
