taken 10 years ago, near to Hyddgen [other Features], Powys, Great Britain

Moorland above Hyddgen
Moorland above Hyddgen
The rough grass is surprisingly dry and makes pathless walking fairly easy compared with the usual Pumlumon bog trotting. The view follows the valley of the Nant Bryn Moel LinkExternal link (the hillside itself being Bryn Moel), then across Cwm Hyddgen LinkExternal link and towards Carn Hyddgen with the massive twin cairns of Carn Gwilym LinkExternal link , which can just be spotted at the highest point of the ridge opposite.
