TF4758 : St.Mary's church, Wainfleet, Lincs

taken 18 years ago, near to Wainfleet Bank, Lincolnshire, England

St.Mary's church, Wainfleet, Lincs.
St.Mary's church, Wainfleet, Lincs.
The medieval town of Wainfleet was just north of St.Mary's church ... now only bumps & hollows in fields mark the site, but the church remains. Modern Wainfleet is about 2 miles east, nearer the sea.
