near to Ardgowan, Inverclyde, Great Britain
Inverkip Castle
15th century tower in the garden of Ardgowan House which replaced the tower as the Shaw Stewart residence when it was built in 1798. The castle is not open to the public and is only visible from the path in the winter months when there are no leaves on the trees.
