TL1167 : Brick shed in a field

taken 10 years ago, near to Stonely, Cambridgeshire, Great Britain

Brick shed in a field
Brick shed in a field
I could suggest that this is the entrance to Stoneley gold mine, given the affluent properties near by. Possibly a more reliable explanation is that a spring or borehole has been tapped for a water supply.
Suggestions please.
