Old Oak Trees near the Monument, Ashridge
A group of old oak trees on the edge of the large meadow behind the National Trust Visitors Centre. The remains of a fallen branch can just be seen on the ground near the furthest tree.
The Ashridge National Trust Estate :: SP9713

The Ashridge Estate covers a wide area of the Chiltern Hills on the Hertfordshire Buckinghamshire border, which provides open access to large woods and open grassland. There are many footpaths and bridleways - including part of the Ridgeway – and wonderful opportunities to observe wild life – including deer.
The Estate Office, Visitor Centre and Café are close to the Bridgewater Monument on Moneybury Hill, above the village of Aldbury.
