Cave Divers at Keld Head
Cave Divers at Keld Head
Members of the Cave Diving Group John Cordingley, Mike Thomas and Pete Riley about to dive into the major Kingsdale resurgence of Keld Head on a training dive in spring 1984. Keld Head drains a large numbers of sinks and potholes including Marble Steps, and both the west side of Kingsdale (via the Kingsdale Master Cave) and the east side. The main objective of Cave divers was the connection between this point and the Kingsdale Master cave through over 2000' of submerged passage, though these training dives tended to concentrate on a loop of passage near the resurgence itself.
