The Old Curate's House, Bramdean
The Old Curate's House, Bramdean
A curate is a clergyman who assists a rector, the latter being in charge of a parish. This house seems as substantial as SU6127 : The Old Rectory, Bramdean. The parish of Bramdean and Hinton Ampner had a population of 557 in 2008. It is interesting that so small a parish could, in days gone by, support such substantial investment in religious infrastructure.
