Sewage pipe outlet marker
The view of the marker pole at the end of the sewage pipe on Wrecked Craigs.

Raw sewage is no longer discharged into the Forth. It is pumped to Edinburgh via a new pipeline. These outfall pipes are now only used in emergency when storm conditions overwhelm the pumps.
