As the organiser of the Swale Charity Paddle flood debris in the river like this gives me cause to panic. I anticipated that over the next two months, floods would wash this downstream and leave it somewhere that would be a hazard to canoeists. In fact, I never saw it again - wherever it washed to, it was not in the 20 km down to Richmond.
