The Shire Hedge Marking the County Boundary at Tring
The Shire Hedge Marking the County Boundary at Tring
This hedge marks the old county boundary between Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire, with a footpath running down the former Buckinghamshire side. This hedge used to have a far more wild look, with many different species visible, but in recent years has been tidied up by ruthless mechanical trimming.
