The Stour Valley Way is a designated footpath that follows almost all of the 64 mile course of this magnificent river. Here, looking upstream, is an artificial pond for the use of cattle. Beneath the tree on the right we found a dead swan with two leg rings, asking to be sent to the Natural History Museum in London.
