NG9130 : Frozen loch shore

Frozen loch shore
Frozen loch shore
The winter of 2008/2009 saw some very cold periods of weather. The small village of Sallachy on the shores of Loch Long sees little if any sun during the shortest months of the year.
Despite this being a salt water loch, the beach was quite heavily frozen.
