Small Quarry at Cholesbury
Small Quarry at Cholesbury
When I first visited the Camp, more than 30 years ago there was an industrial site to the north east of this area which I believe made bricks. I suspect that this small quarry was an excavation for brick earth. (There are many other places on the top of the Chilterns where brick earth occurs).
