Ah, March: such a wonderful time of year for the amateur landscape photographer. All those spring bulbs which have spent the winter storing up energy suddenly spring to life, adding a splash of colour to even the dullest roadsides. No snowdrops or crocuses or daffodils here though; these bulbs are of the energy-saving rather than the energy-storing variety. Dumped over the parapet of Crofts Bridge between Wawne village and Hull's North Bransholme estate, I imagine they've been stolen from somewhere. Gives a whole new meaning to the term 'light-fingered' doesn't it?
