How Stean Gorge
How Stean Gorge
Nidderdale is very much a sandstone valley noted for the gritstone crags which occur in places around the rim. However there is a small inlier of limestone in the dale bottom around Lofthouse, the most notable feature of which is How Stean Gorge.
