The footpath from Stean towards High Riggs crosses the beck just 50m or so downstream from this point. Anyone viewing this photo and contemplating using this route should be aware that there is no bridge and that the beck is [a] deep, [b] wide and [c] wet. The photographer admitted defeat and retreated.
