Church of St Mary the Virgin, Tatsfield
Church of St Mary the Virgin, Tatsfield
Grade II listed church dating from the 12th century with 13th century alterations. The tower dates from 1838 and the south porch (below the tower in the photo) is late 19th century. It is set on the crest of the North Downs, away from the village itself, with extensive views to the south. Standing at a height of 240m above sea level, it is presumably the highest church in south east England.
