The Wealdway joins the Greensand Way
The Wealdway joins the Greensand Way
The two long distance paths meet here. The Weladway comes downhill from Gover Hill and turns left to follow a footpath to West Peckham. The Greensand Way also heads left, from path on right (from Dunk's Green). Another footpath also leads downhill to Oxen Hoath Farm. A farm track also leads right for Oxen Hoath Farm.
The Wealdway
The Wealdway, is a long distance path that runs from Gravesend, Kent on the Thames estuary, to the A259 at Eastbourne, in East Sussex. The Wealdway was conceived in 1970 by members of the Ramblers' Association as route through the Kentish and Sussex Weald, providing a link between the routes north of the Thames and the start of the South Downs Way. It would also provide a return circuit for users of the Saxon Shore Way. Motorway Construction work and the building of the Tonbridge Flood Relief Barrier forced many changes to the original route.
It is marked by double yellow 'W's along the route. See TQ6561 : Crossover in Long Distance pathways

The Greensand Way
The Greensand Way is long distance walk of 108 miles (174 km) in Southeast England, from Haslemere in Surrey to Hamstreet in Kent. It follows the Greensand Ridge along the Surrey Hills and Chart Hills. The route is mostly rural, passing through woods, and alongside fruit orchards and hop farms in Kent and links with the Stour Valley Walk near Pluckley in Kent.
