SO5270 : No need to shut the gate

taken 10 years ago, near to Ashford Carbonell, Shropshire, Great Britain

No need to shut the gate
No need to shut the gate
A muddy gateway. The field is occupied by a flock of sheep. The gate is not closed, nor required. The sheep are Ryelands, which generally stay where put, and are also rather fussy beasts that will not sully their fleeces (they have woolly legs) by walking through mud. The next day I moved them to another field. An alternative route was required - they could not be driven through here.
