The Park, Ashford Court
The Park, Ashford Court
This was once a parkland with mature oaks. Most of the trees within the field have gone, although there still is a fine line of oaks and limes along the driveway to Ashford Court. In 1965 the eastern part of the park was split by a new road to Court Farm. Until the 1970s the whole park was farmed from Court Farm, now just this easternmost fragment remains as farmland, the rest is used for horses.
