Camden: Mornington Crescent, NW1
Mornington Crescent and its terraced houses date from the 1820s, when it was set out and built, and named after the 2nd Earl of Mornington (1760 - 1842), Richard Colley Wellesley. Wellesley was an elder brother of the Duke of Wellington. The road on the left joining Mornington Crescent is Clarkson Row.
