SP3164 : Still it grows

taken 10 years ago, near to Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, Great Britain

Still it grows
Still it grows
One of the few surviving cedar of lebanon trees that grew in the grounds of Shrubland House, a former mansion in Leamington Spa demolished shortly after the Second World War and its large estate developed for council housing. The tree and a smaller companion seem to have survived as they are in an area of garages and parking. The House itself must have been close nearby, according to old maps.
