TQ2883 : Camden: The Victoria

taken 15 years ago, near to Camden Town, Camden, England

Camden: The Victoria
Camden: The Victoria
Obviously as patronized by the late Queen judging by the inn sign but still not amused it would seem. The Victoria has a frontage on Mornington Terrace (round the corner to the right) and here on Mornington Place, which leads down past Mornington Buildings to TQ2983 : Camden: Mornington Crescent, NW1. This somewhat obscure finish to the game fell out of use during the 20th century, but is known as the Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld-Gotha-Altenburg manoeuvre for obvious reasons.
