Snowdrops in the South West Corner of the Old Racecourse
Snowdrops in the South West Corner of the Old Racecourse
The Old Racecourse was abandoned in 1891 as a racecourse as the bends were too tight for the modern breed of racehorses. It is now Open Access Land comprising rough grassland and is still used for exercising horses.
