Daffodils in the Hedgerow
Daffodils in the Hedgerow
The daffodil growing industry flourished in the Tamar Valley after the arrival of the railway but now there is only the occasional field to be seen. The industry has left its legacy with hedgerow and roadside daffodils being plentiful in the spring. These are often deliberately planted by local farmers to add a little colour to the landscape.
