A popular dog-walking spot near Aldbury
There is a small unofficial lay-by on Northfield Road, Aldbury, where cars are often parked. It adjoins a large hay meadow and is only a few yards from an avenue of ancient horse chestnut trees. From the north east end of the avenue one can enter a maze of footpaths ideal for taking the dog for a quick rural walk.
