NY6901 : Green Bell

Green Bell
Green Bell
A blustery day, and it had been windier - much of the snow was blown off the summits and ridges, although the footpath to Randygill top has retained enough snow to show up very clearly. Although the summits were icy and stoney, the fellsides still had plenty of snow, a bit crusty in places, and I was glad I had chosen alpine ski touring gear rather than the nordic kit of the previous couple of days for this ascent.
