taken 10 years ago, near to Bottisham, Cambridgeshire, Great Britain

Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus)
Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus)
British pheasants descend from several wild races and therefore have variable colouration. Most on this site are ring-necked, similar to this one, but compare NX1077 : Pheasant Glenapp and SP0513 : A friendly pheasant. It is looking for pickings among the growing wheat on Goose Green, Bottisham.
