NG3554 : Becoming derelict

taken 10 years ago, near to Flashader, Highland, Great Britain

Becoming derelict
Becoming derelict
The roof of this relatively modern, attractive property has been stripped of tiles and is fast becoming derelict.
I would imagine there is a local story.
UPDATE: I have been contacted by a site visitor who informs me: "The reason for the lack of roof tiles is that with tiles on you pay council tax, without you don't! The house is due for demolition to be replaced by a more modern building". Thank you for the information Peter.
