taken 15 years ago, near to Cwmdu, Powys, Wales

Pen-tir, Cwmdu
Pen-tir, Cwmdu
The prominence of Pen-tir Hill overlooks the village to the east and was a fortified encampment close to, and probably associated with, traces of Roman occupation here. The woodland covering its slopes is called Coed y Gaer/wood by the camp. The mountain extends northeast towards Mynydd Llangorse.
