SH8579 : Colwyn Bay station

taken 9 years ago, near to Colwyn Bay, Conwy, Great Britain

Colwyn Bay station
The road space in front of the ticket hall was originally part of the railway, since the station had two platform loops and goods lines. Accordingly, the facade of the station and down platform accommodation is entirely new, with a level approach from the car park spanning a short cut-and cover tunnel section of the A55. The footbridge originally spanned more lines, and the lift tower has been reconstructed accordingly.
