Sea-access for the Governor's House, Berwick
Sea-access for the Governor's House, Berwick
This old direct-access to the sea is now walled-up. The House is an important building, having been the residence of the Governor of the military men of Berwick Barracks. The Governor's House is now in private hands, and its 'garden' (full of derelict 20th-century structures) is subject to a planning-application for new housing.
