Organ at Brownsover
In the church of St Michael and All Angels at Brownsover (now in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust) is this Chair Organ which was formerly in the old chapel of St John's College, Cambridge. It dates from after the Restoration of 1660 and is considered by Pevsner to be a German instrument. Some of the elaborate carved woodwork may have come from other sources, probably Flemish.
