The High Speed Train comes to Derby
An early training run for a pair of class 253 power cars passing through Derby station in advance of the trains' introduction to the East Coast and Midland main lines. They were already operating on the Great Western line out of Paddington.

Comparison with aerial photographs on the Internet shows that the building in the right of the photo had been demolished by the time the photo was submitted in 2009.
