Lonesome oak
Long-gone field boundaries and a lack of waymarks once the path crosses the boundary out of Shropshire into Cheshire make following the path across this field back towards the canal a bit hit and miss!
The sheep folded on the roots for winter clearly enjoy clustering around this tree.
