Track ascending Cyrn-y-Brain
Track ascending Cyrn-y-Brain
The vehicle track on the west face of Cyrn-y-Brain from the Ponderosa café, seen from near where the fence (right) starts to diverge from the track, a few metres into SJ1948. The main vehicle track can be seen climbing the slope (centre), guarded by a stretch of armco barrier (grey line); below it the scars of a second track and a footpath are also visible. The transmitter on the main Cyrn-y-Brain summit is on the left. The mix of heather and rough grass in the foreground is typical of large areas of moorland on Cyrn-y-Brain
