Former level crossing
A farm crossing (for the former Spango Farm) existed here until the late 1990s. The gates are still in place (between the trees), but all other aparatus has been removed. A similar crossing survives at Dunrod, to the southwest NS2273 : Dunrod farm level crossing. The Big Blue building is IBM's Call Centre which stands on the site of the farm.
