One of the relics in SP3565 : Offa's Church, Offchurch is a stone coffin, reputedly that of Offa himself, but certainly such as would have been used for someone of high status. The actual coffin is in the nave of the church however some parts of the lid are believed to be incorporated here in outside of the North Wall. Notice the carved sandstone block, apparently part of the lid.
