Below the rood loft, on either side of the nave, are two stone side altars which predate the screen and, like several others features in the church, escaped the destruction ordered by Edward VI in 1550. Beyond, the main altar is positioned, slightly offcentre, above the grave of Sant Issui to whom the church is dedicated.
The pulpit, right, is of a later date.
