Saltersford Lane
Saltersford Lane
This old lane used to lead to a crossing of the River Churnet, originally a ford but latterly a "Salters Bridge". The bridge disappeared some time in the second quarter of the 19th century and this part of Saltersford Lane is no longer accessible.
