At the eastern end of the town on Beaufort Street which is also the A40 trunk road, the East/West route that has Fishguard at one end and the Bank of England at the other!
SO2118 : Webbs of Crickhowell is a long-established Crick business: Mr Webb supplied my family with paraffin from the 1940s on although their little ironmonger's shop was then in the main square opposite the Bear. SO2118 : Castle Garage, Crickhowell likewise, and it hasn't changed that much. We got the accumulators for our 'wireless set' recharged there.
