Coat of arms
Coat of arms
On the railway bridge that gives Coat of Arms Bridge Road its name. The arms of the Gregory family, a member of which sold the land to the railway company in 1842 on condition that the family's arms were incorporated into the structure. So they were. And here they still are, resplendent in vari-coloured sandstone, although a little more worn on the further side.
