Seaford Beach
Seaford Beach
Looking south from Marine Parade. 700 years ago this view would have been very different. The medieval spit would have been where the sea is just beyond the seagulls and the Ouse would have been flowing toward the port of Seaford to the east of this view. Incidentally the cone is there for the beach defence works.
