Ashbourne Market Cross and marketplace
Ashbourne Market Cross and marketplace, taken 8 years ago
Right in the boundary of the square, this view shows the market place to the east. The Market Cross was erected to commemorate Francis Wright, a wealthy industrialist, who lived in Osmaston Hall a few miles outside Ashbourne.
