Windermere - Baddeley Memorial Clock

The Baddeley's guide books of the early twentieth century were excellent (I still use them sometimes)and the author's comments sometimes caustic! This commemorative clock of 1907 stands at a road junction in Windermere and the stone inscription has, by the miracles of Irfanview, been made to float up to the top left hand corner to obscure the lamp standard.
