SO2733 : An old leat

near to Craswall, Herefordshire, Great Britain

An old leat
An old leat
This looks like a path but I'm fairly sure it was a leat to take water from a tributary stream into the main stream, possibly dug to reduce the amount of water going down to the cultivated field beside Upper Blaen. Another photo taken in the opposite direction shows the leat heading into the main streamway.
